Interests: My passion in life is to know God and to continue to grow deeper in my relationship with Him. He has been so good to me, though I don't begin to deserve His love. Glimpes of HEAV and graduation

Here's a few shots from convention and graduation :) sorry I'm a little behind the times.

There's a lot of pretty, exotic architeture around dowtown Richmond.

Sunset view from our hotel room

Left: My graduation dress and a very awsome magnolia tree (it had wide, spreading branches)

Right: HEAV graduation :) the girl behind me is Tara, someone I met at rehearsal

I was the first person awake on Sat. morning.  My little brother looks so cute in his sleep!

This is very random: the parking deck had pillars covered with reflective tiles..just begging to be photographed.

HEAV convention was a blast, as always.  I spent most of the time getting ready for the graduation, which went well.  Perhaps I should have been more excited; after a two-hour rehearsal, I was more than ready to walk across the stage and be done. There were 194 graduates this year.  I know this is a pretty random assortment of photos, but there's no way to begin to post them all.  Those who have facebook can see more.

Changes, changes

In light of my last post, I've finally come to a decision as to what to do with this blog.  Yes after two years (and as many changes), and most likely it will change again as my life and interests change.  Although I honestly hope this is the very last one. :)

so...*drumroll* I've been wanting a place to put up some of my artwork...and since I'm rather busy, pictures take less time to post anyway.  Hence, Narnian-Lass will now be my photo/art/crafts/whatever blog.

And with that comes a little confession: in the meantime, I've started another blog (which helps to explain the lack of posts here, though not very much).  Call me crazy...another blog on top of everything else.  But I didn't want to give up writing down the spiritual things I'm learning, and the motivation to put those thoughts into words...so I've kind of been getting used to the feel of this new blog without anyone looking over my shoulder..and it's really been kind of refreshing.  There's no pressure to subscribe, of course.  Don't waste your time there if those things don't interest you..but you're certainly welcome to visit. :)

Oh yeah...what do y'all think of the new layout? Be honest :)

So...

First off, my apologies for the deplorable lack of posts over the last several months.  I have been very busy with finishing school and the demands of life in general, so time is definitely a factor there.  However, My life is also taking some natural new directions, and consequently, I'm not sure what exactly I'll be using this webspace for...I've been doing quite a bit of thinking (and praying), and some changes are on the way.  I'm just not sure what they are yet

So for all of you who follow me here, just wanted to say that I'm still alive! and I haven't forgotten this lonely little blog.  Thanks for sticking with me.
