Hello. I'd like to say all is peachy, but that wouldn't be the truth. School stresses me sometimes, but that doesn't mean it's a bad thing. I'd have to say my first official semester is going great, despite the new-student bumps. I'm in rough spots with couple people at church right now...it's a long story, but that doesn't mean we don't love each other, that we don't still care about each other.
Love or broken trust, faith or doubts, rain or sunshine and butterflies, God is still good! As someone said: "thank goodness He never changes!"
So it's been an interesting season...one of those times where growing is stretching me a little more than I would like, I think. I feel so small right now, in light of all that's going on, things so much bigger than me. That's how it should be.
If you stop by, leave a comment, and tell me how you're doing

| So I know an update was promised sooner; instead of 3 days, it's been, what, two weeks?? Anyway, the story is that I went to upload photos, and I didn't have the ones I wanted. They were on the camera with my parents, who happened to be in Utah that day. They went out west for 10 days as an anniversary trip, and so I had to wait until they returned! I had the same problem with other items I didn't know that they had until I tried to find them (the hairdryer). They had a blast - I learned a lesson about transfering my photos right away. So enjoy some August:
A long, boring bus ride to somewhere.

Fair lights are so fun at night! I went to the county fair with some friends - one of whom was singing in a local competition! She placed third (though we agreed she should have won ).
And...not-so-original: me and the camera. I named my camera Ethan. (permission to laugh) School + work = has made me a busy girl, and so the blog is going to take less priority right now. Other things definitely need to come first. So keep poking me; I'll answer comments if nothing else, 'cause of course I want to keep up with you! | | |

And what happened to summer time? I'm enjoying that new fall nip in the air; but the days are getting shorter. Short, dark days make me depressed. It's silly, I know, but I love bright sunshine.
I can't believe school has started again. I love college, don't get me wrong; the first couple of weeks have been great...even with a couple close calls and homework issues to keep me on my toes. God has been so good! I've bumped into so many people that I know, and made a friend or two :) So here's to short updates, and I should have photo evidence from my August escapades up soon! (as in the next several days.)

| Hey y'all! Here's what I've been up to for the past month. Summer has been going way too fast..always does.

Yummy garden salad at Mrs. Hardesty's + canoeing adventure with friends
 Journaling is essential...
I love summer flowers...♥ and of course Youth Camp '09
was incredible. God totally showed up in amazing ways. Here's a peek: Three awesome friends and my poor foot. I sprained it during team competition. We learned some great songs...this was a favorite before I went to camp; it's doubly special now. DavidCrowder*Band recorded it for their next album (so exciting!!) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f0XTJA3FBkE Team competition: the dress-up relay. Funny how serious we were about something that looked so ridiculous. I wish I could take a photograph to show what GOD did at Camp...there is nothing quite like being in His presence, especially for 4 days! A girl was healed, and others spoke in tongues for the first time. There was freedom to dance. The joy there was absolutely contagious!! But the best part is that was each got to bring back a portion of that with us. I'm excited and eager to see what God is going to do as a result of camp. Leave a comment and tell me what you all have been up to this summer
